IPA Session & Meet-up Nov 9 at PRSA International Conference (Atlanta)

Time to gear up for PRSAICON 2015 in Atlanta! When you select your sessions, think about attending our IPA session – “10 Tips for Going Solo from Mickey Mouse,” presented by IPA Chair Elect, JW Arnold. This session will be held Tuesday, Nov 10 from 8-9:00 a.m.

Making the decision to go solo can be scary. In this entertaining and informative presentation, J.W. Arnold, APR, our PRSA IPA Chair elect and a native of Walt Disney’s boyhood hometown, will draw upon the work of the legendary cartoonist to help participants determine when the time is right and how to make the big leap into business for themselves. Using examples from Disney’s career and his films, JW will discuss successful practices for setting up an independent practice, attracting clients, time management and more, based on his own experiences over 15 years mentoring a dozen colleagues who have also made the decision to go solo.

And be sure to mark your calendar to join us for our Indie meet-up with other IPA’s during the Conference. It’s being held at Pulse in the Marriott Marquis lobby, Monday November 9 from 7-8 pm. This event is free to attend.
